The Ten Shells

Lurianic Kabbalah explains evil as residue rather than as a rival power: husks left when the vessels shattered and could not hold the light. A husk has no existence apart from what it encloses, which gives Judaism a ranked demonology without conceding dualism.

Nodes with a coloured dot and an underline link to a full profile. Structural nodes — spheres, ranks, offices — are labels from the source text itself and have no separate entry. Where a figure appears in more than one hierarchy, its profile lists every placement.
