The one text on this list every body here accepts, which is what makes it the baseline the divisions are measured from. The single clause later added to it in the West — that the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son — is the doctrinal half of the East–West separation.

It is carried as the baseline the divisions are measured from. The single clause the West later added to it is another matter, and is recorded on the bodies that argued over it.
